Brittany Cartwright has lost 34 pounds since joining Jenny Craig as a spokesperson in January.
On Sunday night, while showing off her weight loss in a swimsuit, the Vanderpump Rules alum, who welcomed her first child, son Cruz Michael Cauchi, with husband Jax Taylor in April 2021, confirmed she is so proud of the weight loss she’s attained. Then, she shared her goals and revealed how many more pounds she has to lose to get there.
While hosting an “Ask Me a Question” session on her Instagram Story, Brittany responded to a fan who wanted to know how much weight she’s lost.
“So far I have lost 34 pounds on the program,” Brittany replied. “The fact that I even feel like I’m okay to be in a bathing suit and like, put it out there is incredible for me. I’m so proud. I’m so happy about my success. It’s been great.”
Another fan asked Brittany, “Are you at your goal weight?”
And while Brittany, who’s been open about her baby weight struggles, is close, she’s not quite there — and once she gets there she still has a few more pounds she’d like to lose.
“So as of now I want to lose like 10, maybe 15 more pounds. With the program my goal is to lose 40 total. So I’m at 34 right now. Only six more pounds to go! Feeling so proud!” she gushed.
Although Brittany has seen a lot of success in recent months, she’s had help along the way.
“One of my favorite things about the Max Up program is actually that you have a coach who you meet with once a week,” she revealed. “She can help you if you start to plateau, which is very normal if you’re on a diet. They can help you get to your goals and keep you motivated. It is awesome.”
Also during her Instagram Story session, Brittany confirmed that she’s been sticking to the Max Up program with Jenny Craig.
“I stick to the program. How else do you think I lost 34 pounds since January?” she asked a curious follower.
In January, as she joined Jenny Craig, Brittany offered a statement to her online audience.
“Y’all I am so excited to share this exciting news with you! I am officially joining [Jenny Craig] as their new spokesperson!” she wrote on Instagram. “My weight loss and fitness journey has been no secret since having Cruz—I’ve tried EVERYTHING. It is something I’ve struggled with and continues to be a goal I’m working toward.”
“Not only am I excited to finally keep up with this little munchkin but I’m ready to start my new chapter in 2022 being physically and mentally healthy,” she added.
While Vanderpump Rules is returning to Bravo for a 10th season, Brittany will not be a part of it as she and Jax departed the series in December 2020.
