The documentary is beautiful. Agreed with him on everything he said apart from one thing. He chose to start and finish the doc in Chernobyl, not only choosing to leave Nuclear energy away from the solution but pointing to it as part of the problem. This deeply saddened me, I though he would explain at the end but he didn’t. Many things have changed since Chernobyl and specially since Fukushima. Nuclear power generates base load big scale amounts of energy with less or equal carbon emissions than wind and solar. With an expected increase on energy consumption, going against nuclear energy is digging our own grave. The scientific community agrees with this. The European Union roadmap for energy agrees with this. But somehow the public’s level of support for nuclear is rock bottom. It brings tears to my eyes to see how we keep burning coal and gas instead of splitting atoms.
