Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin reunited on Monday in an airplane, and now, after hearing from Andy Cohen and spotting Luann de Lesseps in an airport, some fans are convinced that Real Housewives of New York City‘s new Legacy series is about to go into production.
While Andy has said in the past that he would be casting the upcoming 14th season of RHONY before he selects a cast for Legacy, Bethenny and Jill majorly fueled filming rumors earlier this week — just as Luann was photographed as she prepared to take flight.
In a screenshot shared by Comments by Bravo on Instagram, Bethenny was seen taking a selfie with Jill as she told her fans and followers, “I’m up here…”
And just a short time after the image was posted, Andy took some time to weigh in.
“Crew en route with certified checks,” he wrote, not revealing whether he was serious or joking.
And as if that weren’t enough to get tongues wagging, Luann popped up at JFK Airport around the same time.
In a post that Instagram‘s Bravo and Cocktails shared on their Story, a photo of Luann and a mystery man was seen alongside the pic of Bethenny and Jill. And in a message written over the post, which was initially shared by Memes About Bravo, Legacy was seemingly teased.
“I’m losing my mind over here! Jill and [Bethenny] on the same flight, [Luann] spotted in an [airport]!!! Are we all thinking the same thing here?!!” the message stated.
As fans may recall, Bethenny revealed she’d been asked to appear on Legacy during an episode of her podcast, Just B With Bethenny Frankel, in April.
“When asked, I say, ‘There’s a number, but I don’t think you can afford it,’” she shared. “[It’s] probably smarter for them to just keep mixing together the ingredients that they already have on the shelf: the people that’ll do it for so cheap because they’ll do it for next to nothing for the relevance and the jolt.”
The latest happenings with the RHONY alums come just days after Dorinda Medley confirmed she was filming herself in preparation for potentially being asked to appear on Legacy.
“They love all that horizontal filming. So if they happen to ask me, I wanna be able to have documented it so I can go to people… And say, ‘Look, this is my move up.’ So I’m doing my homework just in case,” she explained on Jeff Lewis Live. “Now do I hope I’m on Legacy? Do I think potentially I’m in the mix? Yes.”
