Randall Emmett Sued for Over $10.8 Million After Allegedly Misappropriating Gerald Butler Movie Loan as Lawsuit Details Are Revealed

Randall Emmett is being sued for allegedly defaulting on a loan.

According to a new report, the former fiancé of Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has been named in a new lawsuit filed by a U.K.-based company that’s accusing the film director and producer, his partner, George Furla, and their production company, Emmett Furla Oasis Films, of breach of contract.

In court documents obtained by Radar Online, The Fyzz Facility (TFF) claims to have made a loan agreement with the defendants in which they provided them with $4 million for production on a film titled Mexicali. However, after agreeing that the money would be used only for the film, one particular withdrawal was allegedly redirected to another film.

As the company explained, Gerard Butler was to appear in Mexicali and the defendants were required to share their accounting with them on a regular basis. But in March 2020, after $1.25 million was sent to the actor’s talent agent, TFF discovered those funds were actually used to pay the actor for a different film, Hair of the Dog, which is also facing an additional lawsuit over a $287,500 loan.

“Neither Borrower nor defendants have repaid any of the monies advanced under the Bridge Loan Facility,” the lawsuit claims, noting that Randall and his fellow defendants were expected to repay the loan from earnings from other projects, which they failed to do.

TFF is suing Randall, George, and their production company for more than $10.8 million in damages, and they claimed in their suit that Emmett Furla Films Holdings has been suspended by the Franchise Tax Board.

As Pump Rules fans may have heard, Randall has been faced with a number of lawsuits in recent months, including a case filed against him by an insurance company accusing him of “conspiracy to defraud” and an unpaid rent case from the landlord of his former office space in Los Angeles.

Just this week, Randall listed the Bel Air home he once shared with Lala for $6.295 million.
